So what words will get you banned?

Been banned for 72 hours...
I agreed with the first ban because I do end up using the C word a lot - obviously I understand this will more than likely get me a ban if reported now days. However I'm not quite sure about the second ban.

The only thing I could think of was when I was paired with a pre-made and they went afk after going 1-0 in the first minute. I got a bit raged but I cut back on the swearing and ended up just playing as normal anyway just calling them usless scrubs and to stop playing as a pre-made and wasting peoples time. Would I get a ban if these two imbeciles reported me for no reason and due to the first ban I got automatically banned due to a previous offence or do Psyonix actually look at the reports and make a case? I wish we could egt an exmail with a more in-depth reasoning rather than just a standard message.

Do we have some kind of list of keywords we cannot use?

Don't worry I'm not crying, I have plenty of other games to play without worrying about Rocket League too much.

That's difficult when you are trying to rank up and get nothing but Bad Pre-mades or players that go afk after one goal or palyers that tab out of the game after every goal only to come back 1 min after the game has resumed...

Basically any swear words and racist words, also a few seem to think things like ez. But that's more likely speculation.

Also different variations of swears are on the list so, trying to trick the game and changing words such as adding or removing a letter, using l33t speak, and the likes will still usually result in a Ban. If not automatically, then whenever a manual viewing of the report is seen

I can't get a team tbh, I don't play at set times so difficult to get a team. I've tried to train my mates but they are even worse than the people I get paired with lol. (that's not me being arrogant either btw)

Yeah I never shorten words or anything like that so I may have let something slip without knowing. Lesson be learned I guess.

The report box clearly says *harassment* and there is speculation that "the list" isn't just simple swear words but includes things like spamming "ez", spamming negative words like "useless" or spamming instructions like "never", "goal" & "stop".

Or maybe that's paranoia...

Never text chat, because it's not worth the risk. Use Teamspeak or Discord or whatever.

Just ask people that you like playing with if they'd like to party up, add them, get on discord with them, and keep playing with them once in a while. I don't have any IRL friends that play Rocket League, but over 200 friends in the game. Nearly all of those I got before the mod status, so don't tell me it can't be done. ;) I believe in you!

I'm aware I can go the sub-forum but nah. My friends list is small but that's because I choose who's a friend. Other words, I won't accept your friend request because you want me added to your friends list.

But hey, I'll be fine. :)
