About the new update....
As time passes by game introduces more and more overproduced stuff that is totally unnecessary.
Good example for it was the Star Cr@p arena, even Tokyo, so much stuff that is not relevant to the game has been introduced into those arenas.
"Styled" commentator - why? it sounds off, you either put commentator on all games which is hard because a lot of player-names are hard to pronounce properly or you do not put it at all.
Guns firing on star $#it arena, arena music playing behind the winning music, it is just piled up bunch of useless features.

And that new polished champions arena, I really have problems estimating the wall distances on long balls and I am wearing my glasses.
What is the point of flying camera there anyway? it adds nothing to the game, it would make sense if you would see the goal replay from it but no, it is just eye-candy.

I can somewhat understand and take the Aquadome, it is well done, but there you can see some parts where they overdid it, like glass floor - why is that a thing? Who would put glass on floor there, give me an architect who would suggest that for underwater arena of any kind.

I mean whole game is football with rocket cars which is unreal, I just feel all those recent eye-candy stuff is making Rocket League so generic which was not the thing about this game, it is unique... what is next, zombie apocaliptic arena where zombie cars try to climp walls to get inside while you play?
and new goal explosions look like bloody 4-th of freaking jully, 'murica ♥♥♥♥ yeah!

For me it feels like they were too busy thinking what they could do and forgot to think if they should do it.

I mean it is not all bad, crates, trading, it really adds fun to the game, tons of cars, skins and stuff to personalize your beloved car, it all looks really awesome and makes you wanna have that car even if aren't gonna play it.
It's just overproduction of some new useless features that feels a bit off, that's it

Just my two cents

tried posting some constructive criticism, forum is full of "game is ♥♥♥♥, please fix stupid devs or go ♥♥♥" posts which are below 2 cents so I'm kind of pulling up the average cent per post

I still enjoy the game tho, that hasn't changed

As an online editor, I charge my company 0,09€/word. There are 366 words in his post. So, for something as long as this, I would charge around 33€. So, much more than 1,50 :steamhappy:
With Tokyo, I didn't mind the extra shoulders they had, but they removed it. I don't have much of a problem with any of the maps. Starbase Arc seems smaller than the rest; or it's probably because the amount of boosts they added on the field. The entire game is eye candy, because the real sport in Germany, is nothing like this at all.

Aquadome is probably my favorite of all. Glass floors are a thing. I've seen glass floors used for many things; i.e. a glass bridge that hangs off the side of a mountain. If it makes you feel better, just imagine it's ice instead. I'm sure it'd be only a matter of time before some sport adopts a glass floor.

Yup, soccer with rocket cars is unreal. And trying to find a realistic, logical explaination will just drive someone insane. It'd be like trying to find a logical explaination about Goku and Superman. But, you know; they have more than just soccer in their playlist. Despite them stealing ideas from other games, such as Team Fortress 2 and CS:GO; It'll still never be generic. It'll always be unique. Like Minecraft. Since Mineccraft was the first of its kind; it hit it off hard. And then you see countless indie games that try to mimic it in their own ways. I have yet to see any mimicry for Rocket League, but even so, it'll remain unique.

The Walking Dead Arena. That would be pretty awesome. Instead of having zombies on the outside. Just have them spawn randomly on the playing field, or above the playing field; so that they can block a ball, or make someone stub their tire hard. Well, 4th of July did just pass. Sorry you lost the war, Redcoat.

Thinking or Should, really doesn't matter to them. They're gonna be making their money regardless. Whether it's from you, or the many many fans. It's nice to see someone complain about overproduction. Very limited games can ever live up to that.

I get it that it is the atmosphere, there is a metro on other arena nd it is not overprodued.
It is not shining and killing your eyes with stuff, that's my point.
I do not mind thematic, it is fun, but overdoing it just feels a bit off

As for long sessions, for me at least, game is so much about finesse and it is very fast paced so I am not really able to pull off a real long session without losing focus and doing stupid stuff and missing some shots.
Game has no time-off, you are constantly estimating stuff so even if I want to I cannot play it for extended periods without chilling and doing nothing for some time.

So having more discrete atmosphere changes could do the trick as you really do not get to feel it whole
