I think pro players are a reason the car isn't popular. In my experience, many people tend to copy or follow them. Since most pro players and youtubers don't use it for whatever reason (they probably think other cars are better or they're more used to other cars and aren't willing to switch) many regular players won't use it either.
I don't think pro players influence car choice that much. I know for my 1st couple hundred hours I just used what looked best to me. Now I'm at the point where I choose what car I use for what I want to work on; flicks, wall shots, air dribbles etc. But I always find myself back to octane. Why? Because octane is so versatile. It's size lets it get in out of tight spots well. It's hight helps with ball controll on the ground. When doing coast to coast plays it's the best.
The Batmobile and Dominus are great for air drags and ground flicks but thier length can be tricky to deal with when you need to get some flips for speed in tight spaces.
One car I'd like to see is something as low and wide as batmobile but has an octane length. Mabe a little narrower.
Yep, after I posted I checked the hit box stats. Another factor is also hit box elevation. I gave up on trying to find the best match. Xdevil started to look promising. I may give it a shot. Didn't check all it's stats.
