According to a short google search, the Game DVR keeps messing with many games since the creators update.
Disabling it (just ask google) could fix your problem.
That's not a fix, that is running away from your problems and a bad suggestion.
Don't get me wrong, I love Linux and think everyone should use it. But when someone asks about a Windows problem, it is totally useless to suggest another OS.
I hate people suggesting "use windows instead" in every second linux thread, so we should not harass the windows community either ;-)
Went in and disabled Game DVR, same results. This is getting exhausting.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\Win32\RocketLeague.exe
and tried to run the game from there. I got the following error.
"RocketLeague.exe – System Error
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
Any idea what this means or how to fix it? I’ve already uninstalled RL and re-downloaded it, but still had the issue so idk. I thought this might help.
Just did that and it worked! I guess they got messed up with the update or something. Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm glad I finally got the game working again.
