Only 25 Grand Champions in 1v1

only the first 25 are right now GC in 1v1. And the 100th is "only" Champion 2.

I think this change is really radical. From few thousands last seasons to 25. The rating for grand champion is toooo high.

its not.. its good that its even remotely hard to get gc.. and its only been a few weeks of season 4 even the pros said it should be extremely hard to get gc...

rocket league tracker only has about 950k players in it's database. Those are what you could call the active playerbase.

season just runs for a few weeks and amount of GC is not levled out yet. I think the idea that you only get GC if you really own consistantly is good, which also means that it will take way longer to fill that max amount of GC.

You have to visit RL tracker before it adds you to its database.
Check the leaderboards in-game before you go silly again.

Yes, but only people who are serious about their performance visit the trackers. So it's a good indication of the ACTIVE playerbase.

Last seasons amount was way too high. While the S3GC title isn't entirely meaningless, it sounds much more prestigious than it is. I'd rather have too few than too many GCs, because then the title will mean something.

Also, there aren't many GCs yet in 1s, but the ranks still have to settle a bit. The amount will likely increase over time to a more acceptable number.

Only 25 of 950K. I agree that it should be difficult but this is ridiculous. By the way, it has an effect on all ranks. Grand champs from season 3 will only be champ, champs will only be diamond, high stars are platinum, low stars are gold... It cannot be that one rank, with the smallest amount of players influences the whole damn system ?

when i started the thread, there were only 25 in 1v1 because the new gc rating is so high.
