Using peddals of the xbox elite controller

I recently got myself a xbox elite controller and now I want to bind airroll onto the peddals on the back of the controller, but since all they do is simulating another controller button its not possible to bind airroll onto them (but I do not want it on my precious y,x,a and b).

Ive seen some people saying that they use them exactly the way I want to - including that forum mod, but I really have no idea how i would do this. If anybody here is using an xbox elite, please help me.

Best you can do is download the configuration App and remap the paddles to the shoulder buttons and then map the shoulder buttons to air roll.

I have the controller, but I just kept air roll as "x" and I use the paddle position that is mapped to "x". If you want to use all of the buttons for other things, then you will have to use Acidic_Thought's idea.

Maumau, Did you ever figure this out? I am having a difficult time. I can not believe it is this difficult to bind the paddles

I just ended up binding it to the left stick and let the paddles emulate that via a 3rd party program (I dont know if you can bind emulate the stick now - havent used that in ages). In the end that was too much work for me to keep using and updating it all, and bound airroll to X. So I am sorry I cannot really help here :/
