Stuck in Bronze?

In doubles I went from Silver 1 to Gold 1 on like a 3 - 4 win streak, yet in solo standard I was on like a 10 win streak in Bronze 1 Division 1 yet I didn't get a promotion? I have also won games since then and still no rankup. Do you just need a ton to go up a division in bronze?

It seems to be broken right now. For me it is the same.

Solo Duel - works
Doubles - works
Solo Standard - BROKEN
Standard - works

Went up to silver and gold in all modes except solo standard. Winning and losing some matches, every loss lost me a rank. Every win does nothing. I'm at bronze 1 division 1 now, won the last games and still stuck at division 1. Normally I should already be at silver 1 or something.

After winning 3 games in a row in solo i finally ranked up to bronze 1 division 2. :P ... But still, doesn't seem to be right as of right now.

You were probably in bronze I division I for a while because your MMR was so extremely low thanks to the rank reset, and even with a win streak it took a while. It may be because you earn so little, but also because your base MMR is low. Then again, solo standard has always been kind of broken, especially at the beginning of a new season. It takes quite a grind to get out of the lowest ranks. In my experience, it's generally better to wait for the ranks to settle before trying your luck at solo standard. I had a similar problem last season where I was stuck in Prospect I for quite a while; I just played the other playlists instead and improved there, which helped me comfortably rank up in Solo Standard.

You probably lost some games in you 10 placement matches and got a negative rating that you have to climb out of.

I'm finding a wide range of skills in solostandard. I'm in silver now and it's been an up and down ride climbing from bronz to silver. That's just how it's going to be for a while. Currently I'm gold in all the other types of play.

That would make sense but I won 8/10 of my placements. the only other gamemode i have played is doubles which I am gold in. I go up like 3 - 4 divisions in it a win.

This ♥♥♥♥ is broken. I just won 3 games in bronze 2 and then lost one and my little progress bar never went up when i won and then i lost a division when i lost 1. ♥♥♥♥ it. Solo Standard is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Silver 2 and Gold in everything else. Deleting the game.

Solo standard is cancerous atm. I can't rank up after 4+ wins even when I'm MVP.
I'm stuck in Silver and only deranking because somehow my teammates are starters with 50 hours... Trying to carry but I can't be everywhere...

Losing 1 game and I derank already, but no you need atleast 100+ wins to rank up. Terrible system right now.

Also why are there even semi-pro and some pro players in ranked, most of them are either trash or chase after every ball but can't hit a single one...
Silver = ball chasing, bumping and terrible teammates.
Silver should be = learning to rotate, aerials and teamwork..

I gave up on it, bcuz it triggered me too much
no matter how many games i win, the rank DOESNT CHANGE - stuck at bronze 1 div 1
i probably belong in bronze tbh, but i should be ranking up after winning a bunch of games..

I still face players that have either Star or Champion wheels in Silver 3 - Gold...
They are not even good, just had a match with my teammate having Champion wheels and he was terrible, shows how terrible matchmaking is.

You must have negative MMR then. Keep winning and you should be able to go up a division.

How much winning do you have to do is the real question, what determines the MMR? I don't play with teammates and still go on 10+ win streaks yet have been stuck in gold for 2 years. If feels like if no one else can touch the ball besides me, then I'll rank up.
