Just played against someone with this on their profile. I thought it was a smurf but I just 4-0'd him so I'm not sure. And semi-pros aren't in Gold usually (mostly veterans/experts). I thought he was a smurf because he made little mistakes but I got all the goals because I outplayed him.

Edit: So apprently I'm not clear enough.

I just want to know how these people can buy a game without a Steam account (knowing steam's insane security) and what are they?

I'm pretty sure it's possible, just not sure how to do it. You can't use community feature until you spend $5 CAD (Correct this if I'm wrong) so if he lives in a country which has more valuble currency than Canada (like Britain) and bought this game waaaaaay back when it was on sale during the Halloween sale then he would not have spent enough money to have his community features unlocked, but he would have Rocket League.

What are these profiles. I seen very few of these and I'm just wondering what are these.

Accounts without full community access unlocked (Ex. less than 5 dollars spent or just too lazy to set up profile.)

It's even more simple than that. He activated a key for RL and hasn't spent a single cent on his account. Mystery solved.
