Did I at any point say 'Because of how good I am'?
No I didn't. I know how to play the game sure, but im not amazing... far from it.
After 1 goal???? I could maybe understand if you were in a game, or joined a game, where you were 8-0 down or something. But to quit after 1 goal being scored, and there still being like 4+ minutes on the timer, sorry that is nothing more than being a sore loser lol.
I personally blame the leaderboards and stats since it's an ego thing for so many, and they can't fathom the idea of having a 'loss' on their record, hence why they quit when the game is not going well.
You dont get it. Leaving the match is always a lost game. In ranked you lose ranks, in casual you lose mmr. And the statistics made people care about the ranks, nobody gives a fck about winrate, goals scored or distance made with ur car.
The statement when leavign is not
"HA-HA, i tricked the system and the game doesnt count, I'm still the best player ever"
its more like
"I rather leave, take the instaloss (and maybe the 15min ban in ranked) than wasting any more time with this mates"
Questionable in ranked, but in casual i totally legit.
don't mind him he comes trolling and flame baiting on every thread...really sad individual
While I mostly agree with your statement, i'm sure that's how most think, don't post it like it's factual you can't talk for the entire playerbase. I was simply writing my opinion, and im not wrong to think that it's that way.
Even if that is the case I don't understand why quitting is seen as a valid way to play. I brought the game to play the game, not spend half of it in waiting screens to hopefully join a game where im going to win. Wheres the fun in that?, you will have good games you will have bad games that's just how it is. It's not worth quitting over..
I bought the game to play it aswell, not to spend half of it wasting time with mates i wouldnt even want to win with, cause i dont have fun playing with them in first place.
And I dont know your settings, but my queue time is between 5 and 10seconds, even if i quit 10games in a row i would barely have enough time to grab a snack from the fridge, so "wasting time in queue" is no thing for me....
Yes i'm only a gold noob so there are 1000000000 situations in which i can improve myself.
So i normally won't leave a match..
Two days ago i had a match in solo ranked and we played around 2 minutes and the other guy/girl was dominating with 0:4 - at the end of the time i managed to get to a 4:4 and won the overtime.
This also works in 2v2 3v3 .. - giving up is a 100% loose - but playing the game to the end can be still a win.
again: its not about "oh, there is no way we could comeback". its about: "i dont have fun, cause i feel like i waste time with some boosted animals."
if u r not a professional, games are just for fun. The requirements for a game to be fun is more than just winning. (Otherwise OP wouldnt make a thread to complain about the way he wins^^)
I cannot count how many times a team mate leaves three ticks before the match ends.
The devs could make some definitive statement that no one would read or listen to.
