icing the cake achievement

anyone had trouble getting it? i have scored from well within my side of the field, several times, but no achievement :( been bugging me for a while

They fked up achievements by locking some of them to DLC. Very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti-consumer decision. I no longer care about finishing them.

I couldn't give a toss about achievements but if they're there and I'm bored I might try to get one to see if it unlocks a topper or something - which I don't think they do but that's besides the point - it's a side-challenge.

They can tell you how a person is playing a game by looking at what they've achieved so not completely having "no bearing on the game" either. They can be a small but interesting addition to a game.

If your only point in the game was to grind for achievements your life must be so dull.

Some people (including me) like to try and unlock all the achievements. It feels really good when you do, and it's nice to see them all completed.

I don't spend money in-game for the sake of completing. I'm not that bugged about it. I'm sure there are some people out there who are though.

Many games with a lot of DLC have achievements tied to them. There's nothing special about achievements other than satisfying completionists, so I don't see much of a problem with it.
