Something's off... (sluggish air roll/aerial problems)
I ended the last season as a solid champion, almost superchampion, and was able to freestyle and land aerial-angle shots left and right. Since season 4 started, for some reason, I can barely hit like 6/10 center balls and not even place them on net, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row, balls, that before were completely easy and automatic to me. These weird aerial behaviours of mine then started to tilt me and lay a shadow on my perception, precision and positioning as well, because I simply don't know what to expect from me anymore.
Then, today, it hit me. I noticed what was off. For some odd reason, my air roll is absolutely sluggish, slow and has some kind of "force left" when I stop rolling... it's hard to describe.
When I normally air rolled (playing at deadzone 0.10), I would push my analog stick in the direction I wanted to roll and when I'd let go, the car would instantly stop rolling. Now I noticed, that my car always has a little bit of spin left, it's not much, but enough that I have to "steer against", to compensate. I can not push less to arrive at my "wanted air roll position", because the roll is absolutely sluggish, and needs a micro amount of time, to even start. It's minimal, but noticable. For me it's always been on point and direct. I don't even know how it took so long for me to notice that.
My questions are:
Do you people have similar problems? Did you have this problem in the past, and fixed it? Is there some setting I can edit to adjust characteristics of my air roll?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your remote is giving out. You increase your left stick deadzone, but that would do more harm.

Sounds like some input lag. If you're running Vsync, try turning it off and use the in-game frame limiter instead. Also check if your monitor or TV has a game mode. That can increase response times a bit.

Nah definitely nothing of this. I use G-Sync and there's next to no input lag, thanks to my expensive monitor. I can see, as soon as I do something, it happens. The problem is not the "delay", it's the "acceleration" and "deceleration" of my air rolls. As soon as I push the stick, I start and stop rolling, but slow.

The analogue component's wearing can sometimes cause things like that. Changing the potentiometer of one or more axis might help, or just trying with a different controller.

Again, it has nothing to do with the analogue inputs...

I'm using an xbox one elite controller, been using it since more than a year, and it's not the controller's problem. It has happened as soon as the patch hit, and every other action in rocket league and any other game works just fine. It's not the input itself, but the behaviour that has changed, like they once again reset another hidden setting, as they did last year with the deadzone in an .INI file, without telling people, and me almost quitting because I couldn't play like I used to anymore, until someone made a video on youtube about it.
