yes but after playing a few games it goes back to your previous rank no?
If you can't carry yourself out of bronze it's because you're playing like a bronze ranked player. Bronze is the easiest rank to carry yourself out of out of all of them. Merely playing just a little better will get you out.
Wrong. I guess in situations like this people expect me to explain why I say that, but I'm kinda tired of explaining it to people over and over so I'll just pass.
A little clue : try to apply the ranking mechanic to a bronze I division I player who's not in a neutral mmr. Got it ? No ? Too bad.
NB : On another more interesting subject, I understood then that you can dropped on unranked but your skill rating is not lost ? Or did I read it wrong ?
Edit: I'm a high gold/low plat player. If I'm in bronze or silver I can carry the game just fine (I carried my buddys account out of bronze up to gold 2 in a few hours). I sometimes get a few games where I'm really on top of my game and I win a few at plat level, then I lose a few and fall back to high gold 3. Sometimes I lose a few and fall to gold 2, but I generally get right back into gold 3 within a couple of games. Because that's where my skill level is. I will not stay in bronze or silver. If you are a bronze player, you're a bronze player. Don't feel bad the game is much more fun when you play at your skill level. If you can aerial you can get out of bronze. If you can play about a 50:50 defense and aerial you can get out of silver.
Which in itself is inconsistant, since i have faced Silvers, Golds, Platinums and the Silvers have played better than gold AND platinum......this season the ranks are kinda irrelevent...maybe its something the developers need to work on.
not to menton, i have recently faced a group of players where 1 of them was a Diamond I and the other was a silver I and thanks to losing this match due to the Diamand ranked player who definitely deserves his rank, totally slaughtered my team and therefore cost me my Gold I rank...now i am silver III, still facing players that do NOT belong in silver III or even Gold I, they played more like Platinums.
They either delibrately deranked or they have experienced the same poor skill ratio that is going around in season 4, i mean i have faced Silver Is that have played like Champions (i have a friend that is a champion and he is good) and this guy played better than him and then faced Silvers that were Silver-skilled and faced Golds that were terrible and Golds that were Silvers and Golds that were Golds and i have Faced and beaten Platinum ranked players that were clearly not meant to be there.
In the end, its the season 4 ranking system that is at fault, i am thinking Season 5 should get a Hard Reset and then they need to make the matchmaker system go by Goals, Saves, Assists and so on, that should determine the MMR you get when you win and how much you lose, when you lose.
Thanks, finally hearing some sense from players.

It is wrong, but that's okay, you don't want to believe it, fine by me.
