Input lag on some tv's

Hey guys does anyone know how to fix this issue i have.

When i play on my laptop its fine, but when i HDMI it to a bigger screen i get input lag from my controller to what i see on the screen. its very very small. like 0.2 of a second. but its enough for your
usual pin point shots or hits to completely miss the ball. I get it with about 50% of monitors i hook up to

Check and see if the tv has a game mode in the options. That will cut it down a bit, but even then the tv will still be a little worse than a monitor usually.

At home i have 2 pretty cheap 22" screens that ive never had trouble with. i just plugged it into a 4k 56" thats apparently brand new and i get input lag :(
