PS3 vs PS4 controller unfair difference

Ive always used a ps4 controller on rocketleague but since my sister has a ps3 and controller i decided to try out the ds3 to see if its better / any difference.

The only thing about the ds3 i dislike is the L1 and L2 buttons are uncomfortable. It took me some time to download drivers unlike the ds4 which you plug in and play, right away.

The ds3 controller is surprisingly more sensitive with the joysticks (which the deadzone setting in rl doesn't change) This made it easier to hit aerials and controll my car all together.

The ds4 joystick sensitivity is just slower and this is actually a big unfair advantage for people using ps3 controllers compared to ds4 or xbox.

Is there a way to change the ds4 to be the same sensitivity or make my pc think the ds4 is actually a ds3?

Look up something called Durazno. It has settings to change the deadzone shape and sensitivity. ALso can reach full throttle or brake faster.
