Deranking bannable?

I just played against someone that had champion wheels and from his screenshots he was champion in s3.
We played solo 3v3 ranked and he was doing all the fancy air dribbles and because I'm still in silver/gold my teammates basically watched the ball going into the net.

We lost 1 goal from them and then I asked why he was here, he told me that he was deranking to have fun. But I don't see why this is fair only to beat players that are less skilled than him and to just derank them and to have fun for himself...

Is this bannable?

The hell? I never said it's fair... It's just that this happens in every competitive game. You're just unlucky if you play against a smurf

When ppl are getting high and are starting to lose, they are starting to smurf to feel good again.

A smurf's main goal is to remain UNIDENTIFIABLE whilst playing against lower ranks. If you put on champ wheels, people know your true skill beforehand, and then you're BY DEFINITION not smurfing.

Deranking is still bannable however.

If he had no champ wheels on than I probably would be thinking that he is good with air dribbles, but he had his wheels on so I knew that he was way higher rank and I thought he was unranked.
However he was gold 1 and said that he was deranking.

He has screenshots on his profile and there it shows that he was champion last season, why would you be gold 1 in the next season.
You should either be unranked and be around platinum or higher rank when you get your rank.
I have a screenshot of him saying that he is deranking.

Deranking means losing on purpose, which is intentional disruption of the game, a bannable offense.

Well he won that game with only 1 goal difference, still he had his champ wheels on and he was gold 1 which tells me that he either is boosted or deranking.

Can't really do much unless you catch him doing it.

That doesn't prove anything. I can say I'm a billionaire, but saying it doesn't make it true. He may have been boosted and lost a lot of matches afterward without deranking on purpose. Unless you catch him clearly throwing games, it's all speculation.

Sure, I'm going to play every match against him in ranked.. Sure.
