Does the right trigger get pushed down all the way? Try to compare it to the left.

Unplug the Controller/Wireless Adapter and go into Device Manager.

Turn on Show Hidden Devices in the View menu

Remove all the drivers for the Xbox One controller.

Then go into Windows Update and check the Advanced Settings - Make sure it's set to give your updates for other Microsoft products

Plug the Adapter/Controller back in and run a Windows update

This normally fixes any issues with them.

This is kinda late, but found this fix in a different thread. After reinstalling the drivers, change accel/decel to rb/lb in training, drive for a bit, then change back to trigger. No idea why, but this worked for me...

@ Weirdo_5 thank you that solved my problem I did an acceleration test using the keyboard and it was a noticeable difference between the Xbox one controller and keyboard. The controller was not giving me full acceleration or top speed tested without boost. After changing acceleration to Right Bumper and playing for about 5 mins and than changing it back to Right Trigger it worked fine and using the keyboard or the controller gave me the exact same result for acceleration. Much better
