Calm down. It typically happens when there is a compatible update (basically always), or when certain conditions are met. Exploring lots of sectors can sometimes create a reset.

Ok well going by that logic....it should of happened by now... Ive done almost over 300 jumps since taking ut half teh bosses. Theres no boss's left to kill save for V'oruug which you have to blind jump to get to...

Hmmm, my personal theory is that the game typically galaxy resets when the game cache starts getting complicated. Basically, if you just jump through a sector, not too many variables get saved. However, if you partially damage a ship in that sector, all the variables for how you left the target stack up.

Basically, the more planets you raid, quests complete, and ships destroyed, etc. the more likely a reset is to occur b/c the game is riding itself of data it hasnt needed to use in a while - plus if you're clearing out every opponenet sector by sector it neededs to generate new opposition.

And i dont want theories. I want facts.

It's based on fact. You ever notice how Bethesda game file size get ♥♥♥♥ing huge with each save? That's because their games (Fall Out, Skyrim) track condition of items and stuff in the game world which are continually saved (location, orientation, stats, etc.). Items in each instance basically never despawn, the movement of NPCs in locations are tracked and saved, and the game cache slowly builds.

Unless someone piles through the actual ♥♥♥♥ing game code, there is very little way of telling how Leafy Games determined in what ways PULSAR handles its game cache. Sine the game has an autosave feature, you might try and lowering the autosave interval. Of course, this might not have any effect on the speed of reset, but it's worth a shot. Also, you might not have actually gone through as many sectors as you did. This is especially the case if you're raiding because that slows down how quickly you progress across the star map.

Hmmm, never did say it was fact, just related to it. Also, sorry I didn't have the magic answer you're looking for, becasue honeslty, an answer like "You're ♥♥♥♥♥♥" would have saved me the effort of trying to be kind and explaining this to you.

Have a nice day.

Whatever you say kid. Next time just answer the question. If you dont have a factual statement about it then its best to keep your mouth shut instead of put up half baked theories based on assumptions. Sorry you ddn't like the consequences but honestly not my problem you lack common sense either.
You know...

Simply saying...

"I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea."

Or perhaps not even bothering to reply could actually help. Theories, facts, all bogus unless developer actually says something about it.

Sometimes, and I know this is extremely hard to believe nowadays... people are just looking for a simple answer, and not your two cents! I know, it's insane. I can't believe it myself, either!

Look at it this way... Somebody asks "Is the sky blue?", to which some people would reply "Well, it's because--"

No. No. Just no. The correct answer is "Yes."

Thank you.

OP is being a jerk, I vote we dont bother helping him. Start a new game.
Tristarr Apr 27, 2018 @ 12:27am
Oh believe me, he isn't just a jerk on the forums. In game, too. He got his question answered and apparently it wasn't a "good enough" answer for him. Whatever, he doesn't need the help if he doesn't want it. He also doesn't need the crew members if he keeps driving them away with hegemonic tendencies...

You're right.

He did ask you to explain.

Unfortunately, you have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue. You then proceed to give your opinion, instead of the actual "facts"... which is... you know, you have no clue.

Simple thing, man. I guess people just don't have it anymore.
