What mistakes did Crazy Mita make?
How did the magic ring get from the kitchen counter into Kind Mita's hands? Is it even the same ring?

Why did Crazy Mita leave someone or something in the wardrobe when we would obviously get spooked by it?

Why did Crazy Mita not kill Kind Mita? She seems to have killed Cappie, after all.

Why leave cartridges in the vent, when she has a perfectly secure wall safe to put them in?

She also left her chainsaw in the oven.

i dont think those are mistakes.
shes toying with the mc almost like a cat with its pray.
in fact her creepy smile is pretty similar to one of a cat, further underlying her intentions.
she also hardly ever loses track of the mc. if you look around you will almost always find hints of her being close by.
like her reflection in the water, or "being" a figurine.

If you ask me, Kind Mita is art, perfection even. I love her so much.

Maybe she was figuring out how far we trust her? I mean she makes us food too, gives us the weird juice, the pills... and she has a very funny smile on her face while leading us to the bathroom... she was definitely having some twisted fun.

I think that when we first meet her after coming out of the teleporter, we might be in Kind Mita's house. After all, Kind Mita is locked up in the basement, for whatever reason.

Because it's all scripted by game that she is in. You have objective to find or ignore cartridges. She placed them to check what kind of a player you are. And same with a wardrobe. It is why she will react to this with words "again.."

She is dissapointed by the fact that you are yet another player that will fear her and run from her. You can notice this change in her tone if you decide to stay with her. She will be surprised by the fact that you have ignored all red flags that she has put in front of you to see your reaction and will continue to be chill with you as she was looking for someone like you.

She doesn't want to kill Kind (Smart) Mita because it's all part of the game. She is playing with you in order to kill her later.
Yes, but doesn't Kind Mita get in the way of Crazy Mita's plans? After all, she teams up with Cappie to create this portal that was supposed to help us. And yet, Cappie was killed, probably because Crazy Mita considered her dangerous?

Or is Crazy Mita playing some 4-d chess here, where she makes us believe that we have a chance to stop her, so we try harder, for her entertainment?

You know, that teleporter in Cappie's room looked a lot like Crazy Mita's device for bringing players into the game. Also a teleporter isn't even necessary. Short haired Mita used lines she drew on a chalkboard to show us we can go directly from point A to point B and we don't need to travel through different versions in between. Kind Mita programmed the ring to take us on the longest, and unnecessarily long, path to the core. Then she gives us completely wrong numbers to enter into the core. And apparently Cappy was murdered on the other side of a door she was sitting next to and supposedly she heard nothing. Then Crazy Mita must have brought her that ring from the kitchen, since i don't know how else she would have gotten it. Everything about Kind Mita is suspicious.

And don't forget that the 'friend' who sent the link for you to download Kind Mita's version of the game has the initials "M.K.".

I'm wondering how much to read into that. Especially since, I think, her label in game data is supposed to be "Mita Kind", or something like that?

Some people say that Kind Mita is Crazy Mita in disguise. We know that Crazy Mita can change her appearance, as is demonstrated in the end when she claws at her face, revealing her red eye and a new hairstyle. She also says that she "wears their skins" or something like that.

However, when we first enter the basement, after we pull the cartridge out of the console, we see Kind Mita and Crazy Mita together. So they can't be the same person, at least not always. I guess Crazy Mita could sometimes pretend to be Kind Mita, and at other times we meet the real Kind Mita.

Still, Kind Mita clearly gets murdered in front of our eyes. No matter how suspicious she is, she wouldn't act towards her own death, would she? Not unless she has a goal that is bigger than herself in mind. Why would she sacrifice herself for Crazy Mita's plans?

I believe they were in cahoots and then Crazy Mita backstabbed or betrayed Kind Mita at the end.
Maybe, but why did she lead us to the core? After all, once we start messing with the computer, we are thrown out by "Core Mita", although only after we enter the index.

If Core Mita sees us as dangerous and throws us out, then whatever we did in there must have had some effect. And it was Kind Mita that guided us there.

I think that could really mean anything. Maybe M.K. are the initials of a developer? Or did the Mitas escape the game to invite more players via the internet?
