Russian Dub is better than JPdub

I don't speak Russian... but the voices are so expressive and I personally like it more than the Japanese one (also mc gets a sick voice)
You should check it out if you haven't already

NastyhaGrizli She have TG channel with the same name. As I understand, she work in unofficial voicing sphere: anime, youtube videos as invited voice and indie games.

I really wish MC didn't sound like he just got his first day off in a year - his voice is fitting, more or less, it's just his delivery sucks ass. Spanish MC understood the assignment

It's only expressive when you understand Russian or at the least are familiar with russian intonation.

The majority of Western audiences never really come into contact with Russian VA, while Japanese is over represented in every form of Anime, Manga, Light Novels, Visual Novels and so on.

Even though we don't understand Japanese completely, through exposure and habituation we end up preferring it over native russian VA.

I self insert so my MC is mute. Russian dub is cute but I prefer JP for fully authentication.

I was surprised that the Japanese dubbing is worse than the Russian one. There is more emotion in the Russian dubbing. There are 7 dubbing actors, while in Japanese there is only 1 actor. And many of the characters don't have voice acting in the Japanese dub, just text. I don’t know whether the Russian dubbing actors were paid for their work or whether they did it for free, but I wanted to support them for their work

I play in JP and the MC is mute, only Mita has voice acting.

A good rule of thumb is that the original language is always better than a dub. That also applies L1 to Japanese. Y'all watch American animations in Japanese?
