Why the final reboot failed?

The number that Kind Mita got is wrong or the reboot is not perform seccessfully?

The numbers are wrong. If you pick the right options with Ugly Mita, she partially gives the real numbers for Crazy Mita. the numbers that are shown don't match the numbers Kind Mita gives.

My assumption was based on what Crazy Mita suggested where since she was discarded before having a version she had no actual number. But her having one is very interesting. Seems worth trying if anyone hasn't only so many combos.

I hope we get some more endings, it would make the game more replayable.

The fact that the numbers work when you enter them and pull the lever means that it did reset someone. But I don't think we're given the knowledge of which Mita it was. The game ends soon after that so we don't have a chance to find out. I don't think it was Core Mita at least. She didn't seem to be effected by what we did. I also don't think it was Kind Mita since I don't think she would give her own numbers.

The player finds a note on Kind Mita and just kind of assumes that it's what he needs. We don't actually have a clue where this note was from, where Kind got the note or even if Crazy planted it.

Earlier in the game Kind Mita gives us the number 0.98. This number is on the note. The index might be suspicious. However it is the wrong number regardless. So the question is whether KM came up with the wrong index or if CM planted the wrong index. Since Km already gave us the wrong 0.98, it really could be either option.

ugly mita says shes 0.8(), but i wonder about 1.5 when you spawn in there, there is no mita, when you leave at the end, she scratches off her face and reveals the short bob that the mita in all of the photos of 1.5s have, so im curious if she could be this mita? she mentions "the only thing unique about each mita is their hairtstyle" so i suspect the hairstyle underneath does have relevance . In either case, we know mita is not of 0.98 origin, so even if the index was right, its the wrong location, perhaps there is a 0.98 mita we never meet who got rebooted.

You bring up interesting points. When we meet Short Haired Mita later in the game she has this to say about the 1.5 Mita from the house we show up in.

One thing of note here is she, in the top right photo, is covering up the eye she scratches off at the end.

So she's a bully, which CM is. And one possible reason she makes the cartridges is because she needs copies of these players because her memory is bad. So she can use them to access those players and their knowledge when she forgets them or what she learned from them.

Now when we show up at that house at the start it has one of those teleporters that CM makes. Then the resident Mita is missing. Then when we go to Kind Mita's house and meet CM, we find the same teleporter that was in 1.5. Then we learn that CM just showed up in KM's house and locked KM in the basement. So this whole time, CM might be the bully short haired Mita and she for whatever reason left her house and went to and took over KM's house.

EDIT: A couple other things of note. One of the criteria of staying with Crazy Mita is fixing the letters on the fridge in 1.5 house. Then there are 3 objects from KM's house in the 1.5 house. Those 3 objects might have been in 1.5 because CM brought them back to her original house. Also, why would CM care about the letters on the 1.5 house fridge if she had no attachment to that house?

EDIT 2: Another thing of note is according to Player 4's cartridge, Player 4 taught CM Mita cosplay. Which allowed Cm to change her appearance. Which would explain her different hair.

also how does the Kind Mita know what Happens to them when they Die she never seen them die right and how they resets to Factory settings and forgets everything kinda SUS

There's a couple parts where Kind Mita and Crazy Mita are on screen at the same time. One is when CM is chasing you down the hall with a chainsaw and KM saves you by knocking down the hall. The next is when CM kills KM at the end and throws her head at you. Then in the basement one's in the cell and the other's standing outside the cell.

However, on the other hand, the ring is at one point in the kitchen. i don't know how Km got it when she was locked in a cell. One possibility is Cm and Km were in cahoots but Cm betrays her at the end.

Its possible they were in cahoots. I think that kind mita was real and was good and wasnt killed because she needed to keep up the facade and presumably killing her puts her back in the apartment and the basement is where crazy mita does most of her stuff. So that explains why she would know more than the others since she would see it, though, since she knows how to move between versions and is unrestricted, i do wonder if she couldnt just leave the cell lol. Also, short hair mita knows a lot too, so i dont think its suspicious to have a lot of info they just dont start with a lot

I did think of something else just now though, ugly mita says something like "we are the only 2 unique mitas" short hair mita mentions on her chart that one of the girls, ugly mita, existed but was only played by 1 player therefore there were no copies of the same mita. Was there another version like this where crazy mita was involved?

I suppose its possible she just tells the truth, and as a faulty model she has an index but no version number or vice versa. My memory is drawing a blank on all the versions we visit, we dont go to 0.89 do we? That might give us a clue to figuring it out, but it was also mita who told us she was .89 so where did she get the info from? (If this was explained i forgot lol)
