Crazy Mita is not off the hook yet (Spoilers)
When you try to reboot Crazy Mita - you fail. She gloats and says that she has no Mita's index and serial number, and thus can't reboot her.

Okay. She is still a programm though, a prototype. And there is no way i will believe that protorypes don't have their identification numbers. And it shouldn't be hard to figure which failure managed to escape.

So... she is in trouble. And if she is to continue rampaging - game moderators will find out. And then the nuclear option will follow. Evil didn't win. It just postponed it's demise.

P.S.
I've noticed that injured Player we've met wore some sort of collar. I assume it functions the same way as the ring we use. This little detail could come up in the future.

That too. The argument was that she is strong and has a chainsaw. But what can you do against collective kick to the head?

crazy mita is not even a real mita but supposed to be a skinless bug bot.

A faulty prototype. But a prototype nonetheless. No matter how strong she becomes or whose skin she is wearing - she will always remain one. Unless someone will make her official Mita...

I think Ugly Mita might be the key to victory actually. When you talk to her, she mentions something that could be Crazy Mita's version and index 0.8A 8?54*.
How to put that into the console and if this is or will be implemented in the game is another question though.

Ugly Mita partially tells you Crazy Mita's numbers. I don't know how to figure out what the scrambled digits are.

That's the funny thing, her response is different. I kinda wonder if we can deduce it from what we have.

Since Ugly Mita is the buggy one, some numbers repeat or are completely unreadable. I kinda thought the version was 0.88a from Manly's video, but on my playthrough it was 0.8a.
Still, the missing numbers aren't visible like ever. They either repeat or are missing.

As I said, the devs may be working on that ending. But I believe, man, we're on the right track.

I kinda figured the "good" ending just has you waiting in the core for 15 minutes like in farcry or something lol

I do hope in future there is updates with maybe further endings or something, the world feels so unexplored and I'm interested in the concept. Fingers cross it gets enough traction for more Miside

Brute force? Just try all 1000 permutations?

Don't know since I'm not everyone but I can tell you that it will take at least 10 hours of doing nothing but entering numbers and fiddling with menus (I've done something similar before elsewhere ...maybe I'm not as different from Mita as I originally thought).

(That's if I didn't estimate the number of permutations wrong. If it's more than 1000, well... basically just expect it to take about an hour for every 100 entries that you want to try.)

If the menu is slow to get through, then that instantly doubles the time.
Only the most determined can do something as boring as enter numbers sequentially until they crack a code.

There's probably some data-miner that can do it faster but I don't know how to do that stuff. Knowing video games, you will probably try and just meet disappointment ...but then these days they might update it later and the second person who tries won't be disappointed! WHO KNOWS! :catwish:

I believe the key to ending the cycle and saving future players is to somehow befriend Teddy Mita. She could get past Crazy Mita's guard because she looks down on her.
