How is this game not in VR?

VorpX exists, it makes most games into a VR experience, you'll only get head tracking controls though, worth a try and there's always the risk that it's not compatible

I really doubt its due to engine, this game is made in Unity engine which supports VR very easy out of the box.

Most VR games are made in Unity, especially indie VR titles.
