Add a Manual Save Option

I think there should be a Manual Save option, am I the only one?

The auto saves can take a while to hit. What if you need to quit the game? PC/Laptop crashes/dies etc I don't like repeating stuff I just did (like half a Chapter)

I would like to save whenever and wherever I want, especially if I want to continue a Chapter/Level. Sucks when games rely on only Auto Saves and you are basically forced to finish the whole Chapter/Level before you quit the game or you will be redoing all the stuff you did before you quit.

+1. At least some sort of Exit Save would be nice.

-1. They’d basically have to remember not only what you’ve done story-wise, but also your exact position and the state of the world. It would require testing to make sure you can’t, e.g., get out of bounds. That would take time away from updating the game.

In my experience, the checkpoints were close enough together to not be too annoying.

the current save system is done deliberately to make savescumming inconvenient during some parts of the game. It would do good for the game to at least add more smaller save spots, however
