So, Mita's just reverting to the original home layout. Or maybe she can't actually rearrange the rooms but she moved MC to a house created in the old format.
Your call if Mita's just doing it for her own comfort or for the player's comfort. And if the latter, if she's doing it because she thinks the player is familiar with older versions, she just thinks it's nicer, or because MC has secretly been a cartridge for a long time and Mita thinks the player will me more comfortable with the layout the cartridge was created in.
Or in the case where rearranging is impossible, if Mita is moving MC closer to the core so he can 'escape'.
