Crowbcat fanboys lost
They couldn't even make a dent in the review score, and already the recent and overall reviews are very positive again. Turns out the game is good and people like it, and regular people don't give a sh*t about "DEI" or "censorship". Thanks for exposing yourselves as a bunch of clowns at least.

Right but does 2k reviews look like a "win" to you? Looks like a sale flop to me. Maybe its just me...

With only 2k reviews, think of how just how few people had to show up to give a negative review. Dead Rising has always been niche, especially the first game and yet everyone who plays this game loves it. It probably sold well enough to greenlight a remaster of 2 that will undoubtedly sell more, and this game coming out at all boosted the sales of the entire Dead Rising franchise. No matter how you try to spin it Deluxe Remaster was a success for Capcom, and we're pretty much guaranteed more in the future.

Edit: I had to go check the review numbers out of curiosity. Only 555 negative reviews is hilarious for how childish and arrogant the haters behave

Edit 2: The original Dead Rising only has 5k reviews after 8 years on Steam. Deluxe Remaster is almost halfway there after 2 months.

to be fair, most people dont usually give a review to a game they buy regardless if its good or not.

True, but it probably wouldn’t change much if everyone who played the remaster reviewed it. I’d expect the score to go up if that happened

He has fanboys?
Anyway, I doubt people who watched him were review bombing this game. Some people were putting negative reviews because DRDR deserved it - we got to play early, unfinished build with bugs, and consoles got the finished build. Not only that but so far Capcom released one patch and it's booty.
People had a reason to give it a thumbs down.
It just works Dec 8, 2024 @ 3:13pm
Congrats ?? Game was not that much niche but all this censorship helped to divide what was remaining of people who wanted to play it....
Just to compare last senran kagura game ( actual niche game) from small publiser has similar review count to remaster from capcom. So congrats on making game lees relevant than ever.
Dead might be rising but for sure not dead rising 2 remastered lmao

You think people who agree with someone makes them a fanboy? Interesting. I wonder why so many people are going against you. . .

You can look at the review timeline yourself and see the only dip in the reviews happened after Crowbcat released his video. It's disingenuous to act like there was no connection, because it's obvious his fans tried to review bomb and could only knock a few points off the recent score.

I already pointed out how sales of Dead Rising are doing amazing right now specifically because of DRDR, so it's actually more relevant than ever. Series sales are getting a really nice boost, and DRDR itself is selling well. You can keep living in your fantasy land though.

Capcom always puts their games on sale within a few months of coming out, but using actual information and facts is never you guys' strong suit.

It's easy to say stupid stuff without having to back it up or put any thought into it since you can just parrot a YT video. I know the only people left in this discussion page are the trolls who don't even care about Dead Rising, so it's fun to poke fun at them for still hanging around after the game succeeded.

@Chapy believe it or not, but people had issues with this remaster even before Crowbcat released his video. Tons of posts talking crap about it and highlighting bugs, glitches and other stuff. Maybe there were people who got motivated to drop a dislike on that game after his video, but that definitely wasnt an attack by his fanbase or just fans.

There were a few bugs and crashes at launch, but they've all been patched at this point and using old bugs that got fixed as a reason to dismiss the game is either being willfully ignorant or just lying to help your point. Performance is improved, all the texture mistakes have been fixed, other things like there being less blood were just incorrect and have been disproven by Digital Foundry, and all crashes seem to have been fixed. In my own experience I only saw slight FPS drops when driving in the maintenance tunnels and crashed in infinity mode on rare occasions, but both issues are gone.

Where are those sales lmao ?
The ones u dreamed up dont count.

There is no official number from capcom which is sad cuz they celebrate succesful games and even sadder is how u try so hard to bait ppl into giving u clown award and u still even fail at this.
Give some official source it sold well because with this reviews number it does not look as financial succes .

The Dead Rising franchise got over 800k sales when the game got announced and sales were on all the games. https://gamerant.com/dead-rising-series-sales-spike-boost-why/
We haven't gotten numbers for the DRDR sales, but that's not what I was talking about.

Edit: We do know that DRDR was one of the best selling games in the US during the month it came out. 11th highest overall, 10th highest on PS4, and 9th on Xbox https://www.reddit.com/r/deadrising/comments/1gaas4l/dead_rising_was_the_11th_bestselling_game_of/

Mmm....both sides lose when both sides want to be at each others throats instead of focusing that energy on the inferior product that is. There is no right or wrong, just a really crappy game. It's clear this isn't a remake, but a complete overhaul of the original in its intent and design, a bad one at that. Plagued with bugs and performance issues. I don't expect any less when you have western shareholders invested in a third party Chinese company to handle an already shaky franchise.
