Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster: Demake till you drop if you dont trust me.

Dead Rising is hands down my favourite Capcom game of all time (although Breath of Fire 3 is up there 🤔)

The original was a 'George A Romero' fan's wet-dream!
Pretty much perfect!

But this is poor....
Looks the part visually on a 5060ti 16gb/R7 7700!
The initial intro made me think they'd done a stellar job!

Then the Camera intro section starts..... 😅

Instantly, you'll notice there's REALLY bad 'Pop-In' with zombies...

Then you'll get in to the mall, and notice that not only is there really bad Pop-in,
but there's less zombies too.

The game itself still has all the charm of the original,
bar some weird cuts that ruin some story context.
But less zombies was ALWAYS going to be a step backwards in a Dead Rising title.

RE engine looks great on individual character models, environmental textures, etc,
But the actual experience is completely ruined but the limitations of RE Engine.

I'd say avoid until its fixed, but its sales have been poor so it looks to have been completely dropped by the studio now...

So just flat out avoid it tbh

game plays great, but it isn't worth putting sketchy russian DRM on your PC to play it.
