I failed Kent's Photo Challenge but didn’t understand why.
I showed Kent a 'humorous' photo worth nearly 1500PP as required by the quest (at least 500PP), but apparently I failed it since he walked away laughing.

Has this happened to anyone? What did I do wrong?

It DID have the "Outtake" tag on it, right?

Yeah, outtake is the light blue tag

I think it's a bug on photo selection. I was playing with mouse and keyboard, I selected the right photo but before the cutscene started I moved the mouse to another photo...what a s**tty bug.

Next time, it's better to navigate the menus using only the keyboard arrows.

That’s a weird one, ill test it out when I have a chance

There’s also the possibility that they removed the ability to use photos from previous runs but I need to confirm that unless someone knows otherwise
