I just bought the game and have followed everything leading up to its release. From what i can tell without playing yet is that they updated the graphics and got franks a new VA while voicing every character in the game. They increased the damage guns do towards human characters as well as included both a new and the original sound tracks. They removed the erotic feature that was in the original yet kept EVERYTHING the same as it was in the original game. I'm sorry but your opinion is clouded with some kind of hate for modern video games. Its literally the same game with the same amount of features the original had. You must be real fun at parties to be complaining like this without a reasonable argument.

Voice acting is completely different, not only new actors, but the lines are delivered to be realistic, boring, and not fun. "I covered wars you know" is so bland now.

Lighting is too realistic and dark, cutscenes look like Resident Evil and not Dead Rising, this tells your brain the game is more serious and scary, instead of fun and wacky. This matters, and is different.

Characters are changed and censored. This has been talked about enough but it does change the game's feeling. What if they remade Left 4 Dead 2 in the future and changed Ellis because his redneck stereotype was too offensive. Now Ellis is a farmer with no accent :) . Different feeling huh?

You know what isn't fun at parties? This game. Complaining is the only way to express our grievances with mediocre remakes like this. It is a gameplay improvement ONLY. People want and care about more.

What a terrible forum post thats simply made for engagement you have less then an hour of playtime and talk about “how far away it is from the original” you haven’t seen whats been changed, added, attention to detail. No valid criticism points and comparisons made. Just another hate post but spiced up a bit as the whole “woke, censorship” is being run to the ground. I have issues with the game and I have things I appreciate, which I’m writing a 1500 word review on, this is just nothing. Anyone taking this guys word on something he hasn’t even finished and experienced the game fully to see whats been added and removed. Is just biased or ignorant
