Convicts respawn between loading screens?

In the og the Convicts would respawn at midnight each day but here the are respawning when I enter and exit Leisure Park. I assume this is a glitch, anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: This glitch is caused by the 7PM cutscene playing during the Convict fight (as a reply below pointed out) and to my knowledge has not been patched even a month later. However, it can be easily fixed by simply exiting the game and reloading. I didn't realize this at the time because I played the game for like 7 hours straight lol.

That's a pretty bad bug if they respawn after a loading transition. I hope they fix that cuz those guys are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ruthless.

I should note the machine gunner does not respawn, only the driver and passenger convicts.

For me only the driver respawned

It's a glitch if the 7PM cutscene plays in the middle of their fight. Only way I could fix it was by reloading my file and waiting until that cutscene plays before fighting them. Then they don't respawn until the next day after you kill them. (If the music still plays after you killed them then it's glitched)

Dude ya it turned 7 pm for me after I lee harveyed the fkers the gunner got glitches dead they respawned thought ok must be a glitch went to save Leah burt come back gunner is still randomly dead I hear gone guru playing I'm like wtf this can't be possible . There they were made me terrified of them even further.

Theyre not as bad now I had the grand pleasure of testing what they can do to me worst they do is run me over I think they cut out psychopath damage to survivors because Leah should have died 100 times over with a car running me down and I thought oh they can't be targeted now ok just makes my life slightly less miserable

In my opinion they should always respawn to make the game more tense when escorting survivors
