Classic Frank West skin locked behind pre-order?

It was stated as such ever since it's announcement, if you didn't pre-order it then, then tough.

Even then, it's very likely that it'll release as its own DLC within like a month or two.

I thought only the bee costume was in the pre-order, should have paid more attention. Whatever you say locking the classic skin behind the pre-order is a ♥♥♥♥♥ move.

It's honestly not even worth it. I pre-ordered the game specifically because I wanted that skin and didn't like Frank's new look. It looks terrible in game cuz it's just the DR1 model ported over. It's facial animations are also very stiff since its all from the older game. It looks like a skinwalker wearing a really ugly and bad rubberized suit. I dumped it after one cutscene.

Why would you want it? It looks like ass in game. It's just a straight rip of the original Frank West. Low Res skin, Plastic Hair, Glassy Eyes, Low Res Mouth, low poly hands and likely feet. It's not worth it.

I mean to be honest minority will dodge the pay wall and go to nexus or something mod tj rotolo back in and the og frank just to make it feel like home

I'm just gonna wait for modders to mod the skin back in (maybe the TJ sound replacement would be nice too)

Isn't there Enigma anticheat in the game to prevent people from modding and getting the dlc for free? I thought Capcom implemented the Enigma in all their recent releases.

Enigma is still moddable based on how several mods have survived its implementation, at least in some games.

Locking content behind pre-order is never a good idea. At least make the dlc available at extra cost after release.
