Like where/when do I get it? I already cleared the 5 day infinite mode challenge thingy- sooooo where is it? Is it just like a set chance to find it in the game, now? Or does it spawn in a set location, and I just need to find it?

getting to day 5 in infinite mode isn't enough. you have to survive five consecutive days. that includes surviving all of day 5.
so in reality you get it at the start of day six.
same thing with the 7-day survivor achievement. you get it at the start of the eighth day.

I figured that out on my very first playthrough of it- according to my challenges page, I already had both 5 and 7 day challenges cleared- it was just unclear to me as to where I was supposed to have the items. But someone else already helped me find the location, so it's all gud.
