Sorry, but the term 'gay zombies' is hilarious to me. Like the zombies' sexuality means anything to a nosy journalist and a mini chainsaw. Jokes aside, the original game had 0 LGBT representation, or any defined sexualities. The tag being there is more than likely for attention to draw in more people

yes, I believe any steam user can add tags. The devs can change it of course, but most don't

this one is added by the dev, also they do not just put a tag on the page unless lot of people vote for it

I'm guessing the tag is for all the crossdressing stuff you can do.

Or it might be worse and new dialogue from the NPC's showing their sexual preferences and 'representation' like rainbow flags in the mall. new trans/gay paraphanelia in the shops etc.

correct me if I'm wrong, but her sexuality was never stated nor confirmed, just implied. The only thing we know for sure is that she was sexually harassing women and killed previous hostages or people whom tried to rescue the hostages from Jo

Either way, Jo's sexuality was never thrusted at us. She is simply a psycho who turned to sexually harassing people. Now I don't think that warrants an LGBT+ tag, considering she was present in the game for less than 2 minutes

she unanimously been agreed to be lesbian and there are a lot of strong points to show that she is. but I agree that a game shouldn't warrant a tag for a optional side boss that has less than 2 minutes
