Mini Map is gone - Does anybody know how I can get it back?

It doesn`t matter if I try to load a old save the mini map is gone. I scrolled/fast forward a scene further at since the moment the mini map is gone I didn`t change anything in the options. I tried to switch on and off random things in my options to get it back with no luck.

Maybe they mean the compass. All I can think of.

There was a mini map on left down side. And it appears after I get the map and now it is gone.

When you look for solutions you can find the problem for other Dead Rising Games the solution from the others don`t work here. So it looks that this bug problem have all Dead Rising Games that the minimap can vanish.

Dead rising 1 does not have a minimap. Only Dead rising 3 and 4 have a minimap. The map in this game is opened by pressing select on your controller, or M on the keyboard.

When you can`t help why you answer?

I get the minimap after the doors from the escape room was welded in and you get the explain of the watch and the map. After I get the map I have had the minimap in the left corner (before not) !!!

Hate to be "that guy" but they are providing help in a way.

Can also confirm that the only map with the base game you should see, is the one in your pause menu/the map screen. Googling this has shown 0 hits on it being a feature (and I didn't see any even for a mod adding one, but I wouldn't doubt it exists somewhere). Only Reddit posts I find of it disappearing are for later titles in the series too.

Hence - you are not seeing it, as that is the intended game functionality. If you're thinking one should be there based on I think 3 and 4 having one; that is not a feature that was added here.

Feel free to provide some links or screenshots to prove me wrong though - maybe it's just screwed up for most players and nobody noticed because so few have it working it has yet to be documented.

I skiped the photogrrapher scene and after this was the mini map gone forever so I think he changed my graphic option and I see no option to get it back.

The problem is known from other Dead Rising games that he change the graphic and you can get it back when you change in the graphic options and so on. In this game we have no option for the mini map and I switch near all other options off and on to get it back with no luck so I asked.

When you haven`t had the mini map you are normal the wrong person to answer here in this thread !!!

There is no minimap in this game. We can not help you with a feature that does not exist.

Though it's possible we are misinterpreting what you mean by "mini map", so you have to be more specific.

This alone means most people playing the game according to you, including Streamers, would additionally have that same mini-map.
