Still needs patches to fix some of the things you mentioned though, the sounds for example are still awful. But I for one like the newly voiced interactions because it gives the actors a chance to not sound like they're being forced to copy the OG delivery, which they were for the most part.
Some people might like this new version but I think the majority of us see this as an egregious demake of a classic.
For me the game needs a nightmare difficulty to feel truly complete. It's causualized enough, throw us vets a bone already.
edit: there's a recording of me somewhere when i first earned the 7 day survivor achievement. i was so cute with my squeaker voice and so happy lol.
This might blow your mind but people can like things that you don't like. We are not in third grade anymore and the majority of people don't care if you like something they dislike and vice versa. They shrug and move on with their lives.
