how long is the demo

dont wanna install 30gb of demo for only 10 minutes of play

Roughly the first 20 minutes with another 40 for messing around. The only areas you can access is the mall entrance (camera tutorial), security room, roof (survivor tutorial) and the first free roam area. Trying to leave to a different part of the mall will give the option to end the demo.

There is no main missions beyond the tutorials, pretty much just a small area to explore/experiment and kill zombies.

Wrong. 35 minutes. Not including Cutscenes and accessing Pause menus. An hour in game is 5 minutes in real time. And you can do Kent's mission by jumping back into the Warehouse, get Otis' call and jump back in Paradise Plaza. Demo starts at 12pm and ends at 7pm. And you can replay the demo as much as you want.
