Is this a joke? Casual Difficulty?
Seriously i'm baffled right now. The game is already way easier than the original. How much more easy does it have to be? Are people playing this game blindfolded while using bananas as input?

difficulty is subjective, what you find easy isn't going to apply to others. Its optional, so you dont even have to engage with it.
Maybe in the future, don't assume the world revolves around you & your opinions

It revolves around Capcom's greed apparently.

I mean i'm not even surprised anymore seeing as Crapcom thought it was necessary to paint the Food Court in Yellow Paint to show the seemingly inapt player to know where to go.

I also find it funny that the patch notes say "Frank Levels Faster" in Casual mode. Because he levels slow in the "default" difficulty right? Before the zombies even breach into the Mall you can easily get to Level 8. And even if you dont you get an absurd amount of Level ups just from rescuing Natalie & Jeff.

Cant wait for videos to show up where Frank is Level 50 while still on Day 1.

yea i have no idea why a casual difficulty is even here, they improved survivor ai, the zombies really dont bother you unless you let them, leveling is 3 times faster at least. skateboard movement is way faster, yellow paint, saving of pp stickers over multiple playthroughs, autosaves. this list goes on

i like DRDR for the quality of life stuff but the only real difficulty was from either the convicts (which either my game glitched or they nerfed cus after i beat them once only the driver respawned so you could get the car n gun) and the military, which seems to be overly aggressive with their shots. DRDR is fun but a lot more casual compared to the og, this seems like a needless addition,
I would have liked then to improve the crazy combinations your able to do with the book you get for beating 72 hour mode but thats me

So instead of adding a "classic Difficulty" they make it even easier? is the playebase really THAT bad at the game?

Well at least you can now play it with both hands tied on your back.

You're absolutely right..
I haven't bought it yet because I was disappointed..
I was very disappointed with what I saw on YouTube.. Zombies that don't even attack you, the challenge level is ridiculous, too easy..
Here the Zombies remain immobile! They don't even attack me..
How can they say it's too hard?
Capcom needs to listen to the real fans of DeadRsing and not the trolls who want to ruin it like what happened with DeadRising 4!

DeadRising 4 was crap also because of those who now want it easy...

exactly. why dumb down the whole game and then add a casual difficulty. its outrageous they call themself a remaster when they literally move scoop timings to make things easier

Capcom has been doing this to other games for a long while now. But never to this extend.

When's the last time there's been any RE map on the complex level of the Spencer Mansion, or even the RPD (without just being the RPD again with some extra rooms)?

Exactly. There hasnt been.

Its also why Mega Man is a dead series. Doesnt make millions in a day, and they couldnt find a way to tone it down to the point where everyone can complete it. Or why DMC is stuck making mobile games.

They really should have added harder difficulties along with it. I saw NOBODY asking for easier difficulties

Did they at least nerf the Special Forces?

You know that the Special Forces are a joke right? As long as you are not in shooting range of them they cant kill you.

Yeah, but the "Blackest Friday" difficulty on other hand is the totaly opposite... and lacks literally every possible balance, wish developers would get their damn together when it comes to game balancing nowadays.

I'm all for difficulty settings but this is a headscratcher. This game isn't hard? Why isn't there a hard mode to go along with it? Heck, why not have basic modern conveniences where you can customise your own difficulty? DR and its replay-friendly nature would be pretty perfect for that.

Japanese companies and their hatred for game customisation, blergh.

Its interesting how in the early days of NES and Sega MS they axed games coming to the west because they were deemed to difficult for audiences outside of Japan and now they want everything easy.
