Why Remake a game with censorship? observations

There's a type of censorship that bears his name called Bowlderizing.

It appears that Capcom has done the same here.

And the data isn't clear if it's a majority even wanting such changes and censorship. To the point where people even deny it being called censorship at all. That's litterally false.

The game, when it came out, had NPCs and the people you were meant to save be not killable by the player becuase of CERO restrictions as manditory in Japan. The original xbox 360 version did not have such changes.
