Wonder why they change the Voice actor for Frank and if they changed them all?

Not a complaint, just a curious questions, feel like Frank had a really iconic Voice in the OG game.

The new frank looks a older from the visual change.

The complaint is valid. People need more respect for VA's and the characters they voice rather than treating them as expendable.

Cause it's cheaper to hire a new person and Capcom is DEFINITELY testing the waters with this release to see if they are going to continue the franchise or abandon it...just like EA and Dead Space Remake...which apparently the sequel remake got cancelled this year...so yea...that.

They said in one of the trailers that the game is now "fully voice acted." We could also tell from the trailer clips that not all the voices were recast, so I'm guessing any character that needed new lines got recast, because it was too much trouble to find the old voice actors again.

Honestly, stupid gimmick. Would rather read unvoiced text boxes than lose TJ.

There is an OG Frank West as well as an OG Chuck Green Skin Costumes in the deluxe edition: I wonder if they include the Orginal voice overs??

The original voice was really unique, and the game was a cult classic. This more looks like a rebooting of the franchise, not a remaster

They tried to do that with the 4th instalment, and we all know how that turned out.

They re-recorded all voice acting for the game. Not sure if they replace all the actors or brought some of them back.

It's not a zoomer issue, this has been an issue for years in the gaming and animation market especially

It's not a zoomer issue, this has been an issue for years in the gaming and animation market especially

Because it just cheaper to hire new voice then rehire same actor again.

I've seen a theory it's actually the guy from DR4 again because they cost less, and they made Frank look older to fit with that voice (which would mean they carried over another concept over from that trashpile lol).

Other possible reason is just them avoiding hiring VA's who are in a union, though oddly they hired TJ on as William Birikin in the RE2 remake despite this (while denying Alyson Court her chance to reprise her long running role as Claire Redfield).

Capcom does not care about consistency in their English voice actors at all. Chris Redfield has had more than 7 different voice actors. This isn't a new thing, it's a pattern. You can still be sad that he's not returning but they don't really care.
