Coffee machine exploitable?

I picked the "[Character] messes with the settings" option at the coffee machine at Apocalypse Coffee and it said something like "[Character] creates the perfect cup of coffee! It's amazing! The machine fizzes, sparks, emits smoke, and dies." I thought that would be it, since the machine died, but I was able to then make myself a regular cup of coffee, and then mess with the settings a few more times, each time getting another perfect cup of coffee and increasing the character's dexterity. The machine "died" ~3 times in a row before it stopped giving me the prompt to access it. Is this intentional...?

My leader was maxed out (I think) in mechanical and wits when we stopped by the coffee shop, if that matters/helps.

Will check in on this one, it may be that bug that sometimes happens with gym equipment, too.
