Valkyrie Inventory Reset

I found another knights sword in a fancy safe and since I already had one and my inventory was full as well as my other party members, I gave it to Valkyrie (who had previously lost her Mjollin'er somewhere in the map) to carry it. Once I exited the map I checked Valkyrie's inventory and saw that the knight's sword had disappeared and was replaced with the lost Mjölnir. Is this supposed to be intended or did I just get screwed over?

Intended but it sucks that you lost the Zweihander. If you lose the Mjolnir it returns to her hand. Was her inventory full?

It's great that it's intended for the Mjolnir to replace itself after being lost but her inventory was not full and only had the knights sword.

It was in the top slot, wasn't it? I could maybe make the mjolnir always return to the car trunk, instead. I did this with Lnk and Ninja bombs... they used to just get added to those characters, but that way they'd overwrite weapons.

It indeed was in the top slot. Couldn't make her carry it because otherwise then she would just equip (wield) it.
