If I had to guess, it's probably because of that event that flipped his name.

Aside from reversing the letters of your name, I think it also reverses all of your stats. So, in TLB case, his strength stat is super high. However, after that event it would instead make his strength stat terrible.

I'm not entirely sure if that's exactly what happens, but that's how my experience with the event felt.

If you have someone with a high mechanic skill, they can make the event very beneficial. Don't know exactly how the high mechanic option changes things, but you seem to get across the board improvment, usually even in the dex and/or vitality departments.

I think it's a wits check off top of head, to get the BONUS version of the event that tends to give big stat bonuses.

Also the screenshot is really funny haha.

It's likely that the event ruined his stats, since he has like 108 strength. I'm guessing the event gave him 3 strength or something like that. Maybe I need to give him a special event for if he's thrown in the portal.

Wait, 108?! I though strength went from roughly 0-6, with a few going up to 7,8 or even 9. Do all of the stats actually have a much wider range?

Mostly they go from 0-6, but some characters break the rules. Berserk! and Martial Artist also break the rules (to a much smaller extent). Off top of head I think Contender and the Fencer have 9 fitness. Going over 6 makes the smiley flash.

TLB best weapon is windstar and metal boomerang. Attack 1-2 times, pick up knock down zombies and throw. He is the reason i complete my first game, picking up cars, buses and throwing at zombies lol.
