I like having a Bezerk Martial artist (the beefinator) with a civilized surgeon (fancypants). The beefinator is absolutey amazing early game, while fancypants is very good for the long haul. What are your favorite character combos?

I still like giving one of the starter characters Health Care a lot, though I usually just end up playing whatever I have to test at the time anymore.

I haven't played the game that mucn yet, but from my experience the early game is quite easy so no need someone strong to get throught it. the game is mostly won and lost on the road with managment of supplies and morale and I kinda found that charming trait is the most op in the game for morale and general in encounters. starting with a good medic (+4 to skill) helps a lot in the midgame since that way you can have double max personalaties and that makes morale very managable, allsows to take massive hits to it and recover fast.

Berserk + tough guy can also be useful on longer runs with the extra hit point and ability to use shooters.
Hidden potential + charming is very useful for long runs (Winding road and marathon).

Fighter + Civilized is an all around great character. He can smash through zombies with his increased stats, and get you out of ALL KINDS of situations with his great personality. The morale penalty is a fair trade, but it's pretty easy to keep him happy if you're careful.

The best choice is Friend of Dog and whatever else, the kick yourself out with another dog, letting four dogs run the show. Way better than stinky humans

My all time favorites are: Athlete + Warrior for a good character to send on looting missions alone, and a Civilized + Car Nut one that stays in the car most of the game, dealing with pretty much all the skill checks, never failed me.

Car Nut + Paranoid and Charming + Explorer.
Fragile characters that don't have any strength and fitness, but utilities they provide allows me to be successful in many runs due to having RNG to my favor.
