More Control Options
I know people must bring this up plenty of times in the past, but I must ask, so why cant we use the mouse to aim? Or the rght stick for controllers? it just bugs me because I wil be attacked by a zombie and for some unknown reason, I aim at a zombie to the left of me. I dont understand why not?

It would have a HUGE impact on gameplay. It would get rid of the game's uniqueness and turn it into another Hotline Miami clone. The current system has more of an emphasis on skill and practice. Also, if they did this the game wouldn't be multiplayer compatible on the Switch. I may sound blunt when I say this, but the only answer is to get better. Practice makes perfect.

While I do appriciate the explanation, the Switch does give you two contollers then most games ask for you to have a second pair a is. Second I feel the humor that this game rolls by and the fact that it just as much with choices as it does with the combat portion. Third I think you missed the part where I said the game choose to shoot at a different other than the one attacking me? Thats not a matter of skill the games aiming just wouldn't hit the right enemy.

First off, the reason for the Switch multiplayer comment is that one reason I wanted this game on Switch was how perfect it was for Switch multiplayer with only one set of Joycons. And, as for aiming, you aim the direction that your character is facing. Learning how to manipulate this takes practice, as I said, but I think makes it different from other top down games of this sort.

The problem is that this aiming really doesn't work it is so unresponsive, there are moments that the gun wont move from the origanal spot! You fire once and the gun will stay in that spot for about a second unless you fire again, regardless if you are moving or not. In the options it has a right stick option you can enable but this just allows you to walk with both sticks to no real help. I dont know why you are determined to have only half of a switches joycon in your hand because they are tiny and have tended to cause cramping when someone plays with only one for too long. A twin stick shooter control system isn't a bad thing to have, it would allow tighter controls with aiming and if it seems unfair to "somehow" shoot behind you while running, or controlling which zombie you want to kill in a hoard, then you are just in denial because it doesn't work as well as it could be.

Forgive me for taking a while to respond I needed to do a little more research before I came back to you.

As for the one joycon Switch play, the reason I want this is so that it only takes one set of Joycons to play with a friend, which is one of the reasons I am excited for the Switch release. I can understand why you might not like the gun pause, but it isn't that difficult to work around; as all you need to do is wait a second between shots. And as I do agree that the twin stick shooter control style isn't bad, not only does that lack of it separate this from other top-down zombie shooters, but it also makes the game much more multiplayer compatible. I believe you're looking at the game from the perspective of a controller user. As a keyboard user, I ask you: If one hand controls movement, and the other on the mouse in order to aim/shoot/open, how is one supposed to switch weapons? How does one-computer multiplayer work? Do I have to buy a controller to play with my friend? I hope not...
EDIT: But overall, whether your idea is better on a technical scale or not, I believe the current system is just more fun. The aiming system kinda reflects how your people aren't professionals, they're just a "bunch of jerks in a car". Not only that, but it is perfect for multiplayer, which, in my opinion, is the best way to play the game. I apologize if this post seems rushed, as I am on a small time frame. To end off, I would just like to say that I can understand why you believe what you do, but I just hope you can understand why I believe what I do.
