but a game in the same vein as this one, perhaps.
wait till roicketcat reveals their hand.
theyve been updating this game for a year nowe, i think its ok to move onto a new project,
they did say they would keep updating this gamem, too.
just not as often.
It doesn't look like they want to stop updating this one. So it's all good ~_^
Kepa has made multiple references to a different project that they're working on next, but that isn't a sequel and they're certainly welcome to talk about that.
As Ranylyn mentioned, certain features might be too difficult to implement into DR2C, and putting them into a sequel might be easier.
Personally, I can't remember if I've seen the devs mention a DR2C 2. I just think it would be cool.
Followup would use similar tech and structure, but play differently. More of an action-RPG focus, likely with equipment.
Dark Road to Canada: Dark Souls with more zombies, moose, and Mecha Mounties
(Sorry, my Canadian bias is showing. I'll stop now.)
*camera pans to someone making french fries for poutine*
(Sorry, I forgot I said I'd stop ;p)
After the events of Death Road to Canada, the frozen wastelands are now composed almost entirely of jerks! (THANKS ZOMBIE OBAMA)
Take control of the one of the last few non-jerks as they try to escape. Gather supplies. Struggle against greater powers. Fight a giant army of trained dogs. Do battle against the mighty Mecha Mountie, Guardian of Jerks. Do whatever it takes to escape.
