Why can’t I grab anything on modern controls AOD?

So I’m currently trying AOD and wanted to opt for the modern control as I feel Lara feels a lot more responsive and better to move around. I changed the control buttons as I wanted the controls to be exactly like the ps1 classics. But when I’m trying to get Lara to grab a ledge in midair she just won’t. I’ve changed it from right trigger to the X button just like the classics and I’m continually pressing X and nothings happening. Is anyone else having this issue?

Действительно, оказывается, надо нажать не X (действие), а дополнительное действие (RT), чтобы зацепиться, и разбег тоже не нужен с отступом назад, оказывается, можно при касании обрыва нажать X для прыжка, и всё тут .
Я два часа проходил второй уступ, а оказывается, он такой легкий, просто объясняют управление не так, как надо .

Hijacking a bit, it's really annoying you can't have action and secondary (the control that let's you grab ledges) be the same button when using modern controls. Modern feels much better on controller than Tank, but becomes very frustrating when the controls just refuse to be mapped in a sensible way. No 180 degree turn in Tank controls either.
