Yeah I noticed that too, real shame that AoD is still locked to 60
Most probably a technical reason, I imagine if they were able to improve it they would

Yeah, in many (older) games, the physics are tied to the framerate.

Yet 1-5 runs at 144hz here (144fps) ... but AOD 60? Saber & Aspyr fix that asap.

Get "lossless scaling" and just 4x the output.

The 1-5 PS1 engines are extremely well known and have been cracked from the inside and out for decades. I have very little hopes for AoD getting an "easy fix".

Rejoice though, still a much better situation than the likes of the Tales of Symphonia remasters being hard capped at 30 FPS because they're based on the PS2 version's source code. Or Shenmue I & II HD (even if 30 FPS is perfectly fine there). AoD has it better than those.

Calm down Jensen Huang, its not my problem your selling point can be done by a 7 euro app.
Something I've noticed is there's pretty bad slowdown when exiting the menus in AOD, the fps counter will say 60 but visually it can sometimes be stuttery as hell. Usually it evens out after a moment or two in these cases, but it's still jarring.

Interesting, I haven't played AoD apart from running around the first area so I've not experienced that yet.

Not quite the same issues but 4 and 5 don't have an unlocked frame rate whilst scrolling through the inventory, and there are also slow-downs sometimes after exiting the laser sight scopes.
