Fatal error

is anyone getting the fatal error message at all? i got them when first loading the game, so followed the instructions from developer. but not it kind of loads up, gets to title screen and then says Fatal Error and then the game closes, never had any issues before, but now i cant even play, which is a shame because i love the game

Hello, what does the fatal error says? Someone else reported that the Nvidia overlay was causing crashes, maybe that's the reason ?

it just says fatal error and then it just closes, it doesnt have an error code or anything like that

Have you tried verifying the game files? Updating the drivers?

yes i have done that many times, also uninstalled the game and reinstalled as well

yes the game worked before, im running snapdragon x plus, and qualcomm adreno x1-45 GPU

Just bought the game as well, and am getting this error:

My error just says "Fatal Error!" but have th following text when copy/pasted :

CreateSwapChainResult failed with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED 00000000
at D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\Windows\WindowsD3D11Viewport.cpp:282

I am running a 4060 with updated drivers. Lauching with "-force -dx11" has no visible impact.

This isn't a dedicated GPU unfortunately, it's not something we support :/

This is an engine error, I can't fix it unfortunately. Best I can suggest is to update your drivers, it seems to mention the CPU there

This error is related to DirectX, if you have the latest drivers, the problem can come from interfering programs or the display, it's hard to tell

In the Discord community for the game, I posted about this same issue and got a response regarding intel processor instability.

After reading this, I decided to do a BIOS update before giving up and requesting a refund, and it seemingly fixed the issue for me. I'm able to play the game without this pop up happening at launch. Give it a shot before doing a refund.

but the game worked before with same gpus, but now it doesnt, its a shame because il ike the game and have a few hours on it, i dont know what to do now

I found a solution for mine. I added to the launch options -dx11. It solve my crashing problem
