Any tips for Fearless Trial?
Basically title. I searched the forum to see the previous thread for some tips too. Clearly, not playing anything higher than normal so far is making trials hard for me. I've been running it with the Order, and everything is fine until the act 1 boss. Even holding an enemy in reserve, I find myself not having enough troops to deal with the enemy units. I tried upgrading defenses one run and faith in another run. It's pretty difficult to get more than 30 or so using the former strategy, and that's assuming you find a place to get free defenses as gold is hard to come by as the Order. The latter doesn't kick off until act 2, so it's pretty difficult to get enough troops.

Am I doing something wrong? The best early game military buildings I've managed to find are both wood related (rangers + I forgot the one that gives you food + axes), along with Krak de Chevaliers. The usual MH strategy doesn't work because your max defense pool is too low to begin with.

Aggressively use your rerolls, you can get prisons and raider outposts in act 1 and throw them away later.
Thanks, this worked really well. The act 1 boss still took some tries because I almost have to invest most of my resources into military. Things got rough again in the middle of act 2, but I found a way to avoid combat altogether and by the time I got to the act 2 boss, I was generating enough faith (hermit + cathedral + blacksmith even at level 1) to get ~50 faith a round and with two commanderies, I was able to destroy the boss. By the time act 3 started, I had a veteran's hall, and it was just a matter of using graveyard to get enough faith to consistently hit 99 every round and pump the rest into defense in case I need it (never did).

The rest of the trials look daunting, lol. Some of these have 200% enemies... damn and that famine one looks rough.
