Great game. Got all achievements except for trials and ascension
Amazing game. Took a few hours before the game clicked with me and had fun with it ever since. I just finished getting all the achievements except trials and ascensions because I wanted to save them until the end. It was really fun to get all the unlocks for each faction, and I have about 3 cards left to show up in my Collections. I actually knew about banishing by browsing here but avoided using it until now, so collecting some of those cards were really difficult, haha.

Some QoL suggestions:
* Have a way to more easily banish / unbanish your cards and save them as setups you can pull up.
* Have a way to reference your deck in a round, including what has and hasn't dropped. Some of the factions that give you multiple buildings from tech can sometimes make it tricky to remember what has and hasn't dropped already. For example, the Tribe and the North. Same thing for enemy buildings.
* For the North: Because in combat, the game doesn't force you to ensure all Units are dealt with, I sometimes forget to deal with an enemy and have to restart the round once combat starts. Some warnings or some sort of tally somewhere would be great.
* Different colors dots to showcase range of buildings and a way to permanently show ranges for multiple buildings. I often use this for common buildings like the farm or downtown. It gets tricky when you have multiple + enemy buildings overlapping, and it can be hard to tell which one does what. Some color coding would help immensely, and it seems you can't actually show the range for more than one building, so some way to do that would be great.
* I never figured this out -- but how do you actually get a building to show its range during a round on Steamdeck? I could only do it with a tap to simulate a mouse click, or straight up use a mouse on my PC. There doesn't seem to be a button for it in the controller layout.
* When getting new cards, an icon to flag which ones you have not collected yet. Same for enemy buildings (for those Elite cards in Endless Mode).
* I know some achievements are tied to faction specific missions. Why not call out "As [faction], do..."? For several of these, I was confused why they weren't unlocking until I looked online and someone states that they are tied to a faction mission.
* Would be great if faction missions unlock retroactively. For example, it's pretty likely you end up pillaging 3 depots as the North before that mission even unlocks.

Bonus question: Will the game get any more DLCs like extra factions or cards? On the subreddit it seems like the dev is "done" with the game in that it's feature complete (though more patches to rebalance / fix bugs seem to be in place). Would love to see more factions, or terrains, or maybe a faction that comes with a unique terrain or something.

P.S. If anyone have questions on how to do certain faction missions or achievements, feel free to ask! Some of these were tricky.

I don't know if it's "done", i mean he added the North DLC. I'm assuming it's driven by sales, i.e. he has to feed his family and that determines if another DLC is worth it.

"for those Elite cards in Endless Mode"

Are there tech/building cards I am missing you can only get in Endless Mode??? (I've completed everything included accensions and trials .. just had no interest in Endless Mode)

I get that. I just mean the comment he made on Reddit made it sound like the North was the last DLC because this was the original scope he set out to do, so he's done with major content and wants to go do something new. If that's true, I mean, it happens and I get it. I was just hoping there would be more DLCs.

Nah, no new cards for you. Encountering them unlocks them in your collection which you can look at. Otherwise, the card remains blank.

They are special cards that only the enemy gets. They are often twists on existing cards and are generally more powerful. For example, there is a version of Fluvial Guards that both gives bonus units to other buildings along the river and it gets units based on how long the connected river is. Essentially a combination of the River Guard (Castle? Forgot the name) card and the Fluvial Guards.
Glad you're enjoying the game and thanks for the suggestion.
On a controller, you can use the right stick to browse through cards.

For your question about the game's future, yes we've stopped active development. I'm very happy that the game was successful enough to allow us to continue improving it and adding more than we initially planned. But yeah, the DLC sales aren't covering the cost of development, so we had to stop at some point and shift to our next game before money runs out and everybody is out of job. The game ain't perfect, we could always add more and improve stuff, but it's in a good state so we prefer to end there and move on.
I see. Sad to see that the DLCs aren't covering the cost of development. Still, I am glad this game is popular and made enough money for y'all to continue on. Excited and looking forward to what y'all do next, whether it's a sequel or another game!
