How should I use raiding camp?

So it gives you a garrison of 5 and costs 15 defense which is 75 gold. When is this actually worth it?

If you lose the 15 def, you're getting a copy, so another 5 units, which can be helpful when you have to deal with several targets.

But the true benefit is the Fury mechanic: every defense lost = +2 units next round. So, in exchange for 15 def, you're getting 10 units + 20 next round, which is quite a good deal as long as you can refill the defence eventually

Usually the enemy building shouldn't be much larger than one "square", as if you were applying by 2x raiding camps, and your future can withhold these losses. It's more like a "local" army than global by these terminologies i think.
